Emergency Welfare Support
Coronavirus Welfare Support
Equity Charitable Trust offers financial assistance for all professional performers and those who work in the theatre profession when they need it most.
Given the financial hardship currently faced by those in the creatives industries, this support is absolutely critical at this difficult and unpredictable time.
ECT's welfare grants can offer a valuable lifeline to get through this unprecedented crisis period - we are here to help.
The Equity Charitable Trust are now accepting applications for energy grants for the remainder of 2022.
If successful, the grants will be paid by bank transfer on a monthly basis the day before your direct debit is due to go out, up until December 2022. Please note that the maximum amount for any given energy grant will be £1K per household. For information, please contact email@example.com.
Who is eligible?
Industry professionals who are eligible for an Equity card; please note however that you’re not required to be a current Equity member in order to apply.
Each case is considered on its own merit and is dealt with in complete confidence.
The Trustees convene bi-monthly to consider applications, and you will be notified directly thereafter.
If applying for coronavirus welfare support, please send the completed form, professional CV and any supporting documentation (such as medical correspondence, copies of outstanding bills or a doctor's note), via email since we're not accepting post, to info@equitycharitabletrust.
