Coronavirus Welfare Support
Equity Charitable Trust offers financial assistance for all professional performers and those who work in the theatre profession when they need it most.
Given the financial hardship currently faced by those in the creatives industries, this support is absolutely critical at this difficult and unpredictable time.
ECT's welfare grants can offer a valuable lifeline to get through this unprecedented crisis period - we are here to help.
I cannot thank Equity Charitable Trust enough. After an accident which left me in the position of possibly being unable to walk, they paid for all my specialised physiotherapy, which enabled me to be mobile. Thank you again, Equity Charitable Trust. I will never forget you.

THANK YOU – to you, the committee and the entire Trust for such kindness and support – and for also simply taking the time to look at our case with empathy and non-judgement.
Anonymous more testimonials...I just wanted to write to thank you for your wonderful generosity in helping us with our heating system and financial difficulty. We are both incredibly humbled at your kindness and I can’t tell you how much pressure it has taken off us. We are both full time jobbing actors and as you know it’s incredibly tough and cash flow fluctuates on an extreme level. The ECT has REALLY helped us to breathe and sleep a little easier.

That is exceptionally wonderful news! My wife and I had a talk last night about how we were going to afford going into January. Now we can, and we can’t be more thankful.
